Biography

Dr. jur. Sih Yuliana Wahyuningtyas, S.H., M.Hum. completed her Bachelor of Law at Gadjah Mada University (1996), her Master of Law at Padjadjaran University (2001), and her Doctorate at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2011). As an expert in Data Protection Law and Cyber Law, she also delves into legal aspects related to artificial intelligence, privacy, and competition law. As a lecturer, Dr. Sih Yuliana teaches courses such as Intellectual Property Law and Information & Electronic Transaction Law. She has published several works, including "Study of Dark Patterns in E-Commerce Platforms in Indonesia," which addresses the issue of manipulative design that harms consumers. In her "Policy Paper: Accelerating National Economic Recovery," she analyzes digital policies that can expedite post-pandemic economic recovery. Other works discuss the challenges of cloud computing policy and algorithm regulation in the context of competition law. With her dedication, Dr. Sih Yuliana continues to contribute to the development of legal policies to support a fair digital industry in Indonesia.
